With the installation of the first of several new trusses at Glebe and Trinity Cottages, Drewsteignton, the rebuild has begun after several months of stabilisation and salvage, following the devastating fire at these historic Grade II listed National Trust cottages. As much historic material as possible is being retained, including another truss which dates from the 1400s, and will be repaired at the apex in oak with an unusual mortice and tenon joint.

The team are thrilled to see the start of the rebuild of this complex project.
