Work at this mid-Devon property started at a pace to ensure that reroofing was complete in time for the bats and their maternity roosts in March.  The roof works involved both slate roofing and thatching to the property.

We are glad to say that the bats have taken up residence in accordance with the protected species licence.

The site shut down in March, in line with government guidance, but the contractor is now putting plans in place to continue work at the property.

Work will continue to upgrade the building services, finishes and fixings as well constructing a new garage building and porch to the property all in line the listed building consent gained in 2019.

We are now working with the contractor to mitigate any delays to the project and get the client their home back in the shortest possible time.
