Devon Architects welcomes Surveyor to the team
— 04 Jan 2022
Recently graduated Surveyor Jamie Hulland joined Jonathan Rhind Architects’ Devon office in December 2021. Jamie has taken on the role of Surveyor and Architectural Assistant and will be supporting us on a variety of heritage and conservation projects.
Jamie graduated with a 2:1 from the University of West of England, and especially enjoyed the building science, conservation and commercial development elements of the course. Whilst studying he also worked in the construction industry to gain hands-on experience.
One of the projects Jamie will be working on is managing The Bridge Trust’s portfolio of properties in Barnstaple, North Devon. One of our long-standing clients, The Bridge Trust has a collection of Grade II listed heritage properties which we manage by frequent inspections, and maintenance and long-term repair strategies. Jamie has already got stuck in with a series of site visits.
Jamie will also be taking on some of the local church Quinquennial Inspections, surveying and reporting on the condition of these important historic buildings, and is looking forward to getting to know the local parishes.
Outside of work, Jamie is a dedicated rugby fan, and also plays for South Molton Rugby Club.
Welcome Jamie, it is great to have you on the Jonathan Rhind Architects team!
