The handsome Regency villa was originally built in 1806 as a single private dwelling, and although it has undergone various uses since, including as apartments and a care home, it is now once again a family house.

We extended the west wing for two additional bedrooms and staircase plus two storey larder, sympathetically reinstating lost elements. Our considered approach achieved consent in the rigorous planning, Conservation Area and listed building process. 

We also repaired the exterior of the building, modifying the roof and flashing details to improve long term maintenance; re-rendering in lime mortar;  removing paint and repairing limestone cornices and columns.
