Works are nearing completion on the Farmers Arms Pub at the heart of the Woolsery project in North Devon. The ongoing repair, conservation and development of Woolfardisworthy or Woolsery has been an exciting project to breathe life back into the heart of the village by returning the dilapidated pub and Manor House to their former glory.

Externally the decoration of the pub is complete with final touching up of the exterior paintwork, and landscaping works to the beer garden and gazebo. Internally, the bespoke oak staircase is being finished.

Whilst works to the pub are coming to a conclusion, scaffolding has been erected at the Manor House to begin works on the roof. Despite no bats being in evidence in pre-construction surveys of the property, their discovery has meant that works have had to be halted while an application for a bat licence is submitted. When works recommence a bat loft and our inhouse designed bat box will be incorporated to ensure that the bats can continue to live at the property undisturbed.

We will continue to post updates as this exciting project continues.
