North Devon studio welcomes newest team member
— 28 Nov 2024
We are delighted to welcome Tim Loe to the Jonathan Rhind Architects team. Tim, who joined the Barnstaple studio as a Part I Architectural Assistant this Autumn, has returned to architecture after several years during which, amongst other things, he has supported humanitarian aid projects as a technical specialist working on solar-powered refrigeration systems.
Tim studied at The Bartlett, University College London, where, he was interested in ‘design through making’. He won the Dean’s Prize for his second year technical design proposal and represented the school at RIBA’s student forum.
While working at Jonathan Rhind Architects, Tim is also studying towards his Master of Architecture (RIBA Part 2), and will be able to use the experience gained of working on listed and other historic properties to inform his studies.
Since joining the practice, Tim has been working on various projects including preparation of planning and construction drawings for repair and refurbishment of a Grade II listed cob and thatched cottage.
When he is not working, Tim enjoys spending time outdoors, photography and music.
