Jonny’s designs for the Farmers Arms reflect his interest in the juxtaposition between conservation architecture and contemporary design
We are delighted to announce that Jonny Poland has been promoted to full Director at Jonathan Rhind Architects, having been appointed Associate Director in early 2020.
Jonny has been working at Jonathan Rhind Architects since 2008, when he joined us as a Part I Architectural Assistant, before completing his studies at Plymouth University; and Jonny is delighted that he is now able to guide our current Part I and II Architectural Assistants as they begin their architectural career.
Jonny has been the lead designer on many projects; most recently the high profile Woolsery project, and his creative problem-solving skills have been highly valued by the client, including his work on the award-winning Farmers Arms pub and restaurant. Jonny’s appointment as full Director provides continuity of leadership for the team as well as for clients, and we wish him every success as he takes on this new role.
