Responsible Construction

Over the last 10 years the practice has developed its in-house training to keep up with the fast-developing issues addressing the impact both the building and occupation of a building has and will have on the wider environment.

We maintain close contact with the local suppliers of both green materials and technologies and regularly review central and local government policy issues in order to advise our clients appropriately, as much of the advice currently available can be conflicting. In our practice, conservation work applies both to the reuse of an important and often historic building material resource as well as designing to minimise the impact of the building on the local and world environment.
