Cob is an inexpensive yet very resilient clay based material mixed with straw and water.

Traditional Cob work was used widely throughout the Southwest as the primary wall building material in many ancient rural homes. We have specified Cob for building and repair work in a number of projects, and openly endorse its use where other practices may replace it with modern materials.
