A new pool house in a listed walled garden with a simple, uncluttered sitting and eating space within the line of the wall and kitchen. The changing rooms etc. were constructed behind the wall. The striking, angled roof sails over the top of the wall, giving a generous internal height to the front area and the slate floor continues outside to form the pool terrace. The building determines the formal areas of the garden in front of the pool and is a major element of the garden landscape.
